slow labour?
Hello ladies,
Ok so I'm currently 40+4weeks pregnant and my auntie has just suggested I could possibly be in slow labour from what I've told her. 2 days ago I had a membrane sweep at around 3pm and at 8:30pm I noticed I had a bloody slow. The day after I lost my mucus plug and it keeps coming out in chunks (sorry tmi). I've recently got a birthing ball which I'm using frequently and I've had a few contractions while I've been using it and afterwards too. At night I'm really restless and I ended up getting up at 6am and slept in the lounge so I didn't disturb my husband. I've also had a lot of indigestion the last day too.
What are the chances my baby will arrive soon?

Ooh, it certainly does sound like something's happening, doesn't it, BeckyMatthewman?
How exciting!
Do let us know how you get on, won't you?
That sounds very much like my 1st labour. Try to rest as much as you can & keep eating & drinking.
& hopefully it'll ramp up quickly for you, good luck
