Crochet umbilical cord ties

Afternoon ladies I hope you’re all well?! I’ve just discovered the crochet umbilical cord ties and was wondering if anyone has used these or know if anybody who has?? I’m def going to purchase one I think they are a brilliant alternative to the horrible clips that they put on in hospital and they arnt that expensive

    Would they not increase the infection risk? Particularly if they absorb urine etc from the nappy?

    I’d stick to what the hospital gives
