advice on sweep??

hi everyone just looking for little advice..i know everyone is totalli different but just been for my sweep and i am 2-3cm dialated and my cervix is nice and soft so the m/w got 2 fingers in and done the sweep...anyone been in similar situation and gone soon after... xx 40+1 any advice would be fab xx

    hiya... with my first child I was 41 weeks... had a sweep at lunchtime and m/w said i was "ripe and ready"! Started cramping that afternnon and was in full on labour by midnight... Second child, 41 weeks, had 3 sweeps over 6 days and nothing happened!
