Hii.
I am 39+3 and 16 years old. I was already 3/5 engaged before i had a sweep 2days ago. Before i had my sweep my midwife said that my cervix should be completly shut but i was already 1cm dilated, she said this was really good. since then i have been experiencing a sharp shooting pain down below. its quite painful and a pain now and again like period pains. also i have been having white stringy like jelly discharge. and i have just found out that it is the mucus plug coming away.
is all this a good thing?
