Fact or fiction?

I'm starting to think about baby no.2 and wondered if these were true or pure myth...

1. Second labours are generally easier
2. You're less likely to be induced second time around
3. Second babies are usually bigger than the first.

Very much hoping the first 2 are true and the second is fiction!!!

    1. Labour was easier but 8 hours longer!
    2. Induced with 1st, and 2nd. Went into hospital to be induced with 2nd as it was 10days over, but started labour naturally, was 3 cm and they offered to break waters! After having contractions for 18 hours that was fine with me! Contractions werent dilating me very quick so had drip as well!
    3. 1st was 8lb 6oz, 2nd was 8lb 9oz!!

But I had a much nicer labour and delivery with 2nd!

Good Luck! When are you due?

I would say yes to all three...

    1) my first labour was 12 hours, and the second just an hour and fifteen minutes
    2) I wasn't induced with either of the two
    3) dd1 6lb 4onz (10 days late), and dd2 9lbs 11 onz (10 days late)

hope it goes well for you

    xx
