I had a miscarriage 6 weeks ago and i have still not had a period - do you think i should now go to the doctor for them to give me something to start the period off or should i wait a bit longer - i really want to try again so i really need a period x

    You can always go to see your GP if you want to, but I have to say I don't think they'll do much! My AF stayed away for 8 weeks and then another 8 weeks. We saw GP on the day AF showed up and he said that he would have done ov test if it hadn't appeared but I'm not sure what else he would have done.
    Join us on the ttc after miscarriage forum as theres lots of others asking the same questions - its comforting to know others are in the same place albeit as a result of a very sad event.
