d&c awake or asleep?

Hi girls, I am preparing myself for the worst. Has anyone had a d&c under local anaesthetic and do you wish you'd had general in hindsight? I can't bear the idea of being put to sleep.

Hey I had a D&C in January at 10 weeks. I dont think you have an option you are just put to sleep. Nothing to worry about though hunni when you wake up you dont know anything has been done. You shouldnt be sore. As a friend said to me and I agree with her the dentist is more scary then having a D&C xxx
