Brown discharge 6 weeks after miscarriage

I miscarried about 6 weeks ago I never bled a lot. I only had to use panty liners. For the past week or so I have been letting  brown thick discharge almost black. I want to know is it normal to be bleeding for this long after a miscarriage? Btw, I have not gotten a scraping done I have been trying to go through this naturally.
