Is it Miscarriage?

I thought I was having my period but the cramping was too much pain, and then bleeding was heavy. I missed my period for December, tested negative. Then January 12 was the heavy period started, then i passed some blood clots and tissue. It lasted 5-6 days and then bleeding stops to spotting a few days. I though I may have miscarriage.  I can't go to hospital as I am not married and the country I am now in doesn't allow pregnancy out of marriage, much more to be suspected that I did something wrong. 

Can please somebody help and check if this is miscarriage tissue or just a normal period. If I may be pregnant, i need to go home.
