Is eyelash tinting safe during pregnancy?

Hi Ladies,



Hope everyone is figting fit today.



I know that its best not to have full colour dye on your hair and that highlights are ok, but does anyone know if its safe to have your eyelashes tinted?



I am a fair redhead so my eyes almost disappear without tinting. :lol:

    There is no evidence to say that dying your hair during pregnancy has any effects on your baby i have dyed mine throughout both pregnancies and I also read it not long back in bounty booklet you get in their packs. Again eye lash tinting is safe but you could always double check with your beautician X

    I enquired abot this last week. I asked about eyebrow and eyelash tinting.



    My beautician said the biggest risk is allergic reaction, so aslong as you do thorough patch tests you should be ok. Your skin is more sensitive during pregnancy so you can have a reaction even if you wouldnt usually.

    I've had it before so will be sure to get a new patch test done if I go again. I may also wait until the 2nd trimester as this always seems safer somehow.
