is this a trapped nerve?

Started yesterday late pm with tingling lips and left arm - not quite numb but feeling strange. Doesnt go into fingers but starts just below ear into neck and down. Seeing midwife for 28 week check later - based at GP so I might see if she can mention it to him. Its not painful - more a little bit achey! Worrying me though as just had dad diagnosed with motor neurones disease so anything strange freaks me out a bit at the moment!
