Strep B
Hiya,
My sisters both had the strep B virus when they were pregnant (they didnt find out until they had the babies and had to be put on anatibiotics).
They just told me last night, I am now worried. When I tell my midwife will she test me fro it? I know NHS dont test for it but with family history are they likely to?
Please can anyone offer any advice on this.

I worried about this when I was pregnant with my daughter and told the midwife I was going to pay for an online test. She then offered to test me for it. It's not routinely offered on the NHS but if you ask they might offer it as mine did.
