confused and worried please help!!

Hello Everyone,

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a couple of month now .I have a regular cycle every month . This month i was 9 days late on my period . I got some pregnacy  symptoms like nausea and my breast were very sore  .When I finally got what I thought it was my period it only lasted 2 days and half.At first it was light and by the second day it was heavy and back to light.After that i was spotting light with some brown  discharge not enough spotting to go on the liner .I am very confuse i feel like something is wrong with my body. I did take 3 HPT when i was late with my period all negative

. Anyways this morning i woke up to a little more bleeding. I don't want to test again and get my hopes up.Could this be my period or IB?
