Faulty test? Help

Hi, my last period 4 weeks ago didn't even start, so a week later I took a test that was positive. Then for a week I got negatives. Then I used the same brand and got another positive. Since then I've had negatives again with a late period. Has anyone experienced this? Thankyou

No. I'm regular , my last period didn't come properly so I took the first test. So annoying, I need to know. I've heard some tests can be faulty and as they were the same brand I thinking that. :(
