NHS vs private scans?
Hi everyone 
I've just had my 20 week scan but due to being overweight, it isn't very clear and they weren't able to check everything they wanted to (the bits they did check were fine though)
I was just wondering if anybody knew if a private scan was any clearer or am I just going to have to be patient haha

I had both types this pregnancy. I had my 12w scan with nhs. Then a gender scan on Christmas Eve at 18w. 20w scan with nhs baby wouldn't move so I had a repeat nhs scan 2 weeks later. As for quality in pictures my nhs ones are probably better. But it's probably down to what machines they are using. Are they not offering you a repeat scan for the things they could not see? X
