Hi i wouldnt worry about it, hun in pregnancy it is known for you body to produce more discharge ive had loads more than normal in both pregs tmi, i would only be concerned if it smells or contains blood as it could be an infection of some sort or a show, i had my show about 26weeks i think and im ok i just told the midwife when i went and she said to just get straight in touch if i started having contractions, it does just sound like normal discharge to me tho Sophie 39+2 xx

Hi Sophie I am so glad I have found this post with your reply as I had a show today and I am only 27+6 weeks so was a little nervous as I went into prem labour with my youngets at 33 weeks. I have been having braxtons hicks that are stonger than usual and have got a feeling lil man has dropped cos bump feels so much lower.
I was debating on calling midwive but dont want to waste time as I got kids dinners to do before husband comes home later.
I just didnt know how normal it was for show to come away so early but I feel a little better now I have read your reply.

No worries ive had my show early both times now i had it around 30 weeks last time too and still went to 42 weeks they can sometimes come away as baby engages so it could be this if you feel bh getting more frequant and stronger ie painful not just uncomfortable then just give you midwife a bell even to just put your mind at rest xx

Hi Sophie, thanks so much for the advice. I made the mistake of telling hubby about it over the phone as he is at his mums which is about an hour away. He made me ring midwive and she has ordered me to hospital as my youngest tried coming at 33 weeks then came at 36 weeks so they have concerns anyway.
The only problem is its a nightmare day hubby is away so i ring my mum her car has broken down, I am waiting for my sisters to come up to have my 2 but its gonna be a little while.

hi everyone, new here but desperate for advice! My son is 1 month old on Tuesday and has been bottle feeding for the past 2 weeks. He has had problems since. He is extremely irritable, I’m sure my Son doesn’t have anytime while awake not crying, he cries ALL the time and I try EVERYTHING with no success. I have been to the hospital and doctors and they are so very unhelpful, they just tell me he has colic and basically I have to deal with it. I am almost certain, and the hospital also said, he has reflux (silent) as he rarely spits up but it is getting far worse and he is becoming more and more irritable, coughing after feeds and in between and starting to refuse feeds, scream, want them, take them and scream again. He has had Carobel from the hospital as they didn’t want to give Gaviscon due to chance of constipation, but it did absolutely nothing for him. He is now simply on infacol but has trouble pooing, which causes him distress, but is very runny. I guess i am I am desperately looking for advice on what to do, as it is increasingly hard with a baby that cries all day and won’t sleep or settle due to milk coming back up. I feel like I’m missing something and not giving him what he needs? HE IS SUCH A HUNGRY BABY! I feed him, change his nappy, cuddle him, sing to him, wind him, put him in swinger, walk round house, car - I am lost! Health visitor has done a referral to dietician however who knows how long this will take! Dad is lactose intolerant. Also, how much does your baby eat, or did eat at 1 month? Mine wants food every 1.5/2 hours! Please help!
