What is the BabyWorks
The BabyWorks is a Bespoke Babycare Consultancy that focuses on nurturing new babies and parents. The heart of the consultancy is built around ensuring parents are equipped with the right advice, skills and support to enjoy their baby. At the BabyWorks we have an integrated approach to pregnancy and parenthood. We understand that in the same way every baby is different, every new mum or dad needs different support. We currently help clients with Night Nurses, Maternity Nurses, Doulas, Breastfeeding Consultants, Massage Therapists, Weaning Specialists, Sleep Consultants and so on.

Why Workshops
When you are pregnant much of the focus is on preparing for the birth. But what no-one really prepares you for is life at home with you new baby after birth. Parenthood can be an emotional rollercoaster, exhausting, overwhelming and exciting. The BabyWorks workshops are designed to re-address that balance and give parents-to-be the skills and knowledge to cope with confidence during the first 12 weeks of their new baby's life.

What do the workshop cover?
The Workshops covers the practicalities of the first 12 weeks at home with a newborn. An indication of the main topics covered are highlighted below:

??????? Bath-time
??????? Cleaning
??????? Feeding
??????? Out & About
??????? Routine
??????? Handling Baby
??????? Practicalities of life with a newborn
??????? Essential Items

Why are these workshops unique?
There are very few classes like this available. Most ante-natal classes focus on labour, rather than what happens when you arrive home with your baby.

Interactive: Yes, we do lots of talking, but we are very good at listening. We try to offer honest, open and unbiased advice that enables parents to make their own decisions.

Hands-on: The day is practical, educational and full of useful information. There is a selection of baby equipment on site so parents can touch and feel some of the stuff we are talking about and feel confident and comfortable using it when their baby arrives.
