I am interested in having an early scan- I am from farnham, Hants - Has any one else had the early scan and do u know of anywhere in Hampshire that do this?

Well I am from Southsea, Portsmouth...so we are very near!!
I had a 27 week 4D scan at First View Imaging, Cams Hall Estate, Fareham....and they do early/reassurance scans too....check out the website www.firstviewimaging.co.uk they are so so friendly there and we couldn't have asked for a better service!!

How have you found your pregnancy? Is this your first?
Big congrats to you.....yeah this is our first, but we didn't find out we were expecting till I was just over 13 weeks pregnant so unfortunatly we missed out on the 12 week scan, we had to wait till I was 20 weeks to have the other scan!
So far so good in the pregnancy...I have had no sickness at all. The only thing I suffered from in 1st trimester and 3rd trimester is tiredness then a few weeks ago I started to get heartburn and thrush which again is very common in pregnancy! I just cannot wait to finish work now, I only have 9 days left!!! Time is going so so quick though, I can't belive that on friday we will be saying that our baby is due next month!!

Thats brilliant that you havent had any sickness. I bet you are gagging to finish work - I dont blame you. I have been in a daze since finding out. It will be a whole lot easier when we start telling people - Havent told anybody yet. My closest friend mc at 5 wks a few weeks ago so i really want to keep it quiet for a bit. Also why Im keen to have an early scan.
I am feeling every tired and have hits of feeling a bit sick but not actually being sick. Its our 1st. We got married in May and in Nov will ahev been together 10 yrs.

I just thought i'd add in another place in hampshire which is LB Healthcare. They scanned me at 7 weeks, and i didnt wait long at all for an appointment (within a week).

What made you have an early scan?
I live in Bognor Regis but am a Gosport girl originally!! Always in Pompy or round that way!!
I had a 10 week scan at Cams Hill Estate too!! Thought they were fab!! Got some great pics and video clips for only ??50!!
Then we tried for a 4d scan at 29/30 weeks at LB Healthcare, but baby was hiding, on BOTH occasions we tried!! Bit gutted as didn't get a refund, but guess that's the way the cookie crumbles!!
So, I'm due in around 17 days now, and totally crapping it!!!
Nice to know there are other local gals out there!!

We weren't trying but were over the moon when we found out, I only moved down here in December (I am orignally from Oxford) so I started work and became pregnant within a few weeks, luckily I qualify for all the maternity leave and pay!!! We have been together for 5 years.
We don't know what we are having, going to be a surprise, I wanted to find out but my partner and mum changed my mind so we can't wait to find out....everyone thinks we are having a boy...just by the old wives tales etc...and from our 4D scan pics...add me on facebook if you have it hun Hannah Langford, all my 4D pics are on there!

I live in Farnborough, Hampshire so very near Farnham. We like to go walking around Farnham Castle, bit of a mission walking up the hill though but it keeps us fit
We should defo do a Hampshire mums/mums to be meet up. I am 6+1 and have my 1st midwife appointment 3 weeks tomorrow
I used to live in Southsea by The Esplanade and worked in Blue Reef when it was known as The Sealife Centre
Our first scan is in 6 weeks and really can't wait, I am so impatient! hee hee

Loulou84 - i had an early scan because i have a history of miscarriage (twins in Nov 07 at 12 weeks, and feb 08 at 6 weeks, and a previous one at 15 weeks a long time ago), so i really wanted an early scan for reassurance etc. However, just a bit of advice that helped me back in Nov, was that i had already had an early scan at LB healthcare at 6/7 weeks and had the report to hand, and when things started to go wrong, the midwife and docs got me emergency appointments at the Princess Anne hospital because i had the report stating that there was a viable twin pregnancy. So although the outcome was sad, i wasn't told to rest for a few days etc - they confirmed the pregnancy had grown to approximately 10 weeks, and then failed, so it was useful at the time.
I am now 10+3, with 2 scan reports and awful morning sickness - so am really keeping it all crossed!

I'm from Southsea too! About 15 weeks now. I just had my NT scan at First View in Cams, they were lovely-thinking of having 4D there they were so nice! They do a scan from 6 weeks for ??50. If there is something you are worried about though you should nag your GP-I did and got a scan at 7 weeks.

I live in Whiteley, near Fareham. I had an 8 week scan at LB Healthcare (for my own reassurance as I had a friend who had an early miscarriage around the same time) and my NHS 12 week scan was carried out at First View. I preferred the experience at First View as there were toys in the waiting room for my son, and it just seemed a bit friendlier and more professional. We were kept waiting at LB whilst the sonographer chatted to the receptionist. LB was fine though overall.
I'm 16 weeks with my second pregnancy, and my son is 16 months old.

We're in London, so I can't help with where to get the scan... sounds like you've got plenty of suggestions though!
