Sharp pains in second trimester

Hi im 16 weeks 4days pregnant and I've been getting some sharp pains that come and go in my lower abdomen. I've read that it's normal because everything is stretching but just wondered if anyone else has suffered with this?

    Hi, I got the sharp pains throughout my fourth pregnancy. The midwife told me it was normal, I believe she called it lightning crotch. However, I do think you should definitely call your midwife and have it checked out, just incase. Xx

    Yes I got with my first pregnancy. Even went to hospital to check it out as it was making me vomit too. Everything was ok and it was just stretching etc.
