Leaprfog DS Lite

I have received emails about the new Leapfrog I Pad.  I really like the look of them they say 4 plus.  I was thinking for Christmas (which is a week after daughters 4th birthday) getting her one. I mentioned to my husband and he said it was a waste just get her a DS lite which you can also get educational games for.

Im not sure i want my 4 year old daughter to have one but he just keeps saying they are the same.  She has never shown any interest in computers or the like but a friend of ours her little girl who is now 4 has one and she did look a little intreaged by it.

 Anyone got any opinions or is it me being a little weird about computer games and stuff.
