Reasonably priced prams

I am looking for a new pram but I am getting very frustrated because all the pram shops around me are very expensive. Shopping for baby equipment is really important to me as it allows for bonding time with my mum and mother-in-law. Also having a hands on experience when choosing a pram. I don't want to go ordering one online to find out that it doesn't fit in my car, its too flimsy, too heavy, or just doesn't suit my needs, then to have to faff around sending it back etc.

Has anyone else had this problem?
