Otoplasty( prominent ear set back)

Hi, has anyones child had their ears pinned back? My 11yr old son should have had it done yesterday but an an emergency case came in and so his op was cancelled as they needed the bed. He now has it in oct. He is quite calm bout the op, having been bullied over it he cant wait to get it done, its me worrying about it. I just want to make the right decision for my child. Have any of you girls experience of this and any info you could give me would be great. Thanks.
