Hi would you consider these dsos - pumps as school shoes my 12 year old ds wears my 13 year old dd wears vans do I think they should be ok ?

    Hi Mrsmcdonald. We're going to move your discussion thread to Schoolchildren, where more people with children the same age as yours might see it.

    Hope someone comes along soon to help you out (but, if it helps in the meantime, a lot of boys in my eldest son's year - he's 16 - seem to go to school with shoes like this and, as far as I know, it's all fine).

    Yeah I'd send my child in pumps generally grey or black shoes or pumps are fine x

    My 13 year old likes pumps for school, although they do get wet in wet weather, haha.

    Yes defintly classed as normal school shoes in my area plimsolls are good because they are cheap and are school shoes

    My ds wears them they get tatty though I buy him a pair for £4 every term
