10 month old now waking up in the night for a bottle!!!????

can anyone please help me!!!??? 

My baby is 10months and recently went through a spell of being unwell which meant he was on antibiotics. 

previosuly he slept 7pm - 4/5am had a bottle and then went back to sleep. Recently hes been waking up at 12/1am. He wont take his dummy and will not settle. I go to him but it makes him worse therefore i see if he will settle himself. But in the end i give him a bottle. Im pretty sure he doesnt need it as he has 3 full meals a day and snacks. I really dont want him to get into the habit of avin a bottle to fall back to sleep. Any other options!!?

he doesnt crawl yet, heard this migt have an impact?

any advice much appreciated
