This is the first time I've written on one of these posts but the piercing thing was one thing that bothered me... I'm 31+2 and I've been wearing a maternity belly bar for about 8 weeks now. Initialy it was far too long and kept catching, but it's much more comfortable now. It's only a cheap ptfe one but I've had no problems with the ends coming off. Did have my nipple pierced but I took it out the same time as I changed my belly bar as I'm hoping to breast feed. I'm just hoping that I haven't done any damage that will affect breast feeding as it had been pierced for about 12 years!
