We didn't tell anyone until 12 weeks. I told my parents immediately after our scan and my mum was a bit upset that I had waited but she got over it. We started gradulally telling people at that point.
Two girls in work guessed I was pregnant at about 5 weeks so this will feel like the worlds longest pregnancy to them.
I had a bit of a fear of untelling people, which in hindsight I am not sure that applies to very close family and friends. However my H didn't want to tell anyone until after the 20 week scan so we kind of compromised on 12 weeks.
