Im 6dpo and noticed a green vain on my right boob. Thats the only boob tgat has been tender and sore during tww.but ive also always looked at my boobs and uad vains on my chest and boobs but not my nipples(areola) what does that mean
I really don’t know dorianrankin. I’ve literally never had sore boobs in my life. I’d really like to find out if Im positive before the weekend. It’s my birthday and I need to come up with excuses for no alcohol lol! My family’s are very close and sociable so the old antibiotics trick won’t wash with them. And il be raging if o avoid a few glasses of fizz for nothing 😂😊
Also, we have a. Private clinic specialist on gynae and maternity. Wondered if i went there for bloods how long u think it would take for them to tell me? I know the hormones show up better in blood test and it’s got to be quicker turn around time than the nhs? Anyone any experience of this?

A bit of background with me, is 8 years ago I came off my pill microgynon and fell pregnant straight away but lost the baby to Turners syndrome at 14 weeks. I have taken my pill ever since but ny partner and I have decided to have a baby. Every day I hope my period doesn’t come but then I speak to friends who haven’t had a bleed in 4/5 months after coming off it. I’m just looking for some other people to give me an insight in to their experience with falling pregnant after coming off the pill.
I shkuld have also mentioned that after about 2 weeks of coming off my pill, I had the worst pains, I felt sick, I had several symptoms of early signs of pregnancy but I read that it’s common after coming off your pill. I done a pregnancy test almost 2 weeks ago and it was negative. But I knew this was too early.
Sorry I’m new to this so I don’t really know the abbreviations used. I guess I just wanted to chat to people in the same position
Evielou my AF is due 10th Oct. was expecting to ovulate today but opks are still negative. The one I did an hour ago was slightly darker than usual so am going to do another at about 4pm and see if any darker. Am struggling with feeling down today as I hate the fertile window as I find it stressful dtd at the right time. I keep thinking I’ve got to make sure me and oh don’t have an argument incase we miss the vital dtd night. I just want to ovulate and get it over with. We dtd Sunday night and I wanted to last night but oh fell asleep but my opk not positive yet so hopefully it won’t matter. I just really want to get a positive opk today and then dtd tonight and have it over with. The stress is getting to me.
Hi Louise 111 - i understand what you mean about dtd, I could not be bothered last night but had to as it was day 3 of positive opk‘s and I didn’t want to miss out.
Have you tested last month to see if your window is the same? Mine started Saturda, think it will end today, test tonight!

When will you Take a pregnancy test? Before the 10th with an early detection one or wait to see if AF comes? 🙂
Oh, I keep forgetting "normal people" only get scanned once or twice in the first trimester. I'm diabetic, so we get ultrasounds and check-ups a lot more often. I also had a missed miscarriage. I went for my first scan at 6 weeks and they noticed two egg sacks, so I had to go back at 8w to see if they were both viable. That's when I found out there were two in one of the sacks and the other sack never developed. Imagine if they all developed fine, I'd be 5 months pregnant with triplets! Anyways, the identicals were measuring at 7wks, and they couldn't find a heartbeat. After a month of trying to "expel" them using misoprostol and it not working, I had to get a D&C in July.
Long story short, we're trying again and hoping for the best! You're only a few weeks away from being out of the first trimester! Good luck girl, keep me in the loop as to how everything is going

Hi Has anyone had hormonal blood tests done before?
I had some done although the doc was maybe slightly out with the days as she said I should go around cd14 which it was around but not Definitly on.
Any way i called today and the reception lady said she couldn't go into detail just that my progesterone was 2.4. I have an appointment to discuss but it isn't until next Tuesday.
Initial research tells me this isn't good but I genuinely have no clue what progesterone levels should be at any point in your cycle.
Well, I'm now officially in for October, AF just arrived CD1 for me! Sad but feeling good about this month. I got my opks, started eating super healthy, so I think October will be it! Bring on the July babies

I’m 34 and have been trying since May. I know it’s only been 5 months, but I’m finding it so tough. The heartache every month is so hard.
Trying to not obsess, but I just find I’m kidding myself.
im using the clear blue fertility monitor. I’m on day 10 and my reading is high, so fingers crossed October is the month!

the bloods were done on 17th and I got positive opk on 16 and 17 Sept.
