Hi @Lacey Till hope your ok 😊 we've been offered another date by our venue for next year if we decide we want to postpone. We've talked loads about this this week and have decided that we are going to postpone. We are worried about a second wave and also come October lots of coughs and colds will be about and people may panic that it's Covid. I didn't like the uncertainty and feel so much better weve made the decision. Out family and friends also think we are doing the right thing. When was your friends wedding?

I had my nurses session this morning and can start next month. They centre are running a reduced service so I was lucky to start next month. I start Buseralin injections on CD21 in June and then have first scan on the 8th July. So if all goes well should have Egg transfer middle of October 😁🤞 just need my AF to be on time this month!! 🙈

Hey ladies I hope everyone is well! Xxx

@sas1101 glad you are feel so much better you don’t want there to be anything to effect your wedding, one of the biggest days of your life and so amazing to see you will be starting your injections next month! I have everything crossed for you xxx

@Ags99 do whatever makes you feel comfortable and if that’s using a Doppler then so be it you defo aren’t the only one xxx

@Lacey Till, @Giegie and @Trying4number2now hope you are all well xxx

its been a manic couple of days for me, seems like we may be moving to a better home in the next couple months, waiting for all credit checks to come back ok and fingers crossed they do, the house we are in now is ok but the house we have looked at will be so much better to raise a child in! And also got my bloods back and they are normal so means I don’t have gestational diabetes which I’m happy with xxx

@Flowers2412 thank you. I relaxed that in my previous message I put transfer will be around the middle of October, I actually meant around the middle/end of July 🙈😂
That's great news on the house and blood front! It'll be a manic few months for you but all so worth it. So glad things are going well for you. Xx

@sas1101 The October transfer confused me at first I thought that’s an awfully long cycle lol. How exciting you will be starting next month! Also I agree you have done the right thing by moving your wedding, it’s just not worth the worry or stress. Who knows you might have an extra little guest attending next year 😉🤞

I had 3 weddings this year that have all been cancelled. 2 in July and the recent one that’s just been cancelled was end of August. Just means I get to show off our little one next year instead of my bump this year.

@flowers glad everything was okay with your bloods and exciting news about the house! I don’t know about you but I’m feeling very pregnant now. Starting to struggle a bit! All worth it though xx

Hi Ladies, glad to see things are progressing nicely, I am having my anomaly scan tomorrow and crossing the big halfway milestone, 20weeks whoop whoop! :)

If everything goes well tomorrow I am telling HR on Wednesday making it official and get my last day at work, can't wait. Started feeling movements so feeling more confident, still no pattern though, but now I definitely know it's him wiggling in there.

Are you taking advantage of the restrictions being lifted? We have not changed anything even though we are allowed to, but still feels just too risky, would be curious o hear how are you feeling about this whilst being pregnant? xxx

    Hi all,

@Giegie not long at all now! I'm so excited for you. I wonder if we can add a little girl to the forum.

@Ags99 I hope your scan goes well. How lovely you're feeling movement. I'd say of you can avoid going out then do it. I think a stroll late in the evening would be nice and less people around.

I'm CD3 today so officially in my FET cycle. I start Buseralin injections on the 19th,I had the nasal spray last time so unsure what to expect. @Ags99 @Lacey Till I hope they don't hurt 😬 I'm booked on for first scan on the 6th July so hopefully transfer two weeks later 🤞🤞🤞

@sas1101 I take walks every day next to our house there is a little forest and it's very quiet, I was more thinking about meeting friends and family as officially we are allowed, but we decided not to do it due to the pregnancy I was just curious whether we are being over cautious compared to others or not.

Exciting you are already in your FET cycle!! Don't worry about the injections, they were totally fine (and I can be a big baby when it comes to pain and needles trust me), I actually remember looking forward to doing them every day as it felt like I am getting closer to the ultimate goal. x

@sas1101 The injections are fine and not as bad as I was expecting. The needles are so thin so they glide in like butter. You’ll be fine 😘

@Ags99 I’ve been getting out a bit more. I’ve been to a few shops and everyone seems to be acting sensibly and the stores are organised so I feel more confident going out, although I’m still avoiding really busy places. I’m not too worried about things anymore and don’t want to hide away.

@Giegie @Ags99 @Flowers2412 I hope all your scans go well this week! @Giegie exciting that you’ll get a date! How comes you are having a c-section?

Hey ladies I hope you are all well xxx

@Giegie can’t believe you are 36 weeks it’s going quickly I bet you can’t wait to hold baby in your arms xxx

@Ags99 i went and sat in my parents garden today which felt amazing and it was a bit of normality and I did still keep my distance but was amazing to just socialise! Glad you are starting to feel more movement I’ve been told that babies get into a pattern by 24 weeks xxx

@Lacey Till glad you are feeling confident about going out, as long as you keep yourself safe all will be ok xxx

@sas1101 bet you are so excited to start your injections and to get to your scan I’m so happy for you xxx

All our credit checks come back and we will be moving house on the 4th of July! I’ll be 34 weeks then but glad we can get moved and settled in before baby is due to turn up xxx

Hi @Flowers2412 glad the scan and diabetes test was all well. I saw the consultant yesterday who is happy with everything. They’ll will induce me at 41wks if I haven’t gone into Natural labour. Not keen on the idea but hopefully it won’t come to that.

Hope everyone else is doing okay xx

@Flowers2412 made up your baby is doing well hunni 😍 xxx

@Lacey Till hopefully you will have your baby before 41 weeks hunni 🤞🤞 I was induced so if you do have to be you can ask me anything xxx

@sas1101 Eddie at the moment is mostly only falling asleep in my arms and is feeding very regular both day and night so not getting much sleep at all but Ellie-Mae was worse as she was very poorly so never really slept at all and this fourth trimester as they call it lasts about 3 months like the other ones so keep reminding myself of that it will soon be over and phase 2 begins lol xxx

Hope all you guys are well 😁 xxx

@Lacey Till fingers crossed it all happens naturally for you xxx

@sas1101 thank you, I just remember the midwife saying “his weight is above average” everyone thinks he is going to be a big boy and I’m only little lol xxx

@Trying4number2now oh bless you I can imagine it’s hard work, I suppose we all better get used to no sleep😂xxx

did any of you ladies take aspirin when pregnant? At my 9 week midwife appointment my midwife said to take aspirin from 12 weeks which I have done, however the other day when I asked my midwife when do I stop taking the aspirin she said she isn’t allowed to tell me to take it and when to stop even tho she did tell me to take it, she also told me to see a consultant but I never have done and I don’t know how to go about seeing one? Xxx

@Flowers2412 I was put on 75mg from 12wks till delivery by my consultant due to age, to prevent blood clots, pre-eclampsia.
But I now have to ask again since I'm having a c section (23rd of June) and have no pre existing condition. There's always the danger of heavy bleeding due to blood thinning.

The advise given tend to depend on the condition of the pregnant mother, family history and tests. Some ladies (on another group that I'm in) have been told to stop at 36wks by their midwifes/consultants regardless of their choice of birth. And a few others have been told to continue until a day before birth.

It's really strange that she didn't explain why you should be on it and is now refusing to advise on when to stop. Please ask your GP or another midwife if you don't have a consultant attached to you.

@Giegie i was told to take 150mg every day from 12 weeks as it’s my first pregnancy and I have a higher bmi, I’ll definitely try and find out the answer maybe I’ll call the midwife hub number I have and hope I get given an answer xx
