Hi! Hope you’re all well....just a quick question, any idea what this rash is please? Gigi hasn’t got a temperature but it a bit clammy and has a bit of a cough. She’s feeding & eating as normal but is absolutely covered in little red spots. I think it’s chickenpox but not 100% sure xx
That's strange... It's is meant to be really really infectious though, I think you literally only need to be near someone who's infectious to catch it. Has she had any hand me downs recently? Maybe clothes or toys from someone that might have had it?
I ordered her some new clothes online, she’s tried them on but they’re in the wardrobe as too big, that’s the only thing I can think that she’s been near, but even then can the virus Stay on clothes? It’s got me so confused!
@Curiosity101 hey! It was chicken pox yeah...it cleared up in about 10 days and she seemed ok so thankfully not too bad! Still no idea where she managed to get them though, we had the doctors really confused!
Her new problem is nappy rash bless her! We just can’t get rid of it, and she’s started to refuse bottles 🤦🏼♀️ I think she’s out to test me this month aha. Hope you’re well x
Hi, how is everyone? Can't believe are babies are going to be one before we know it!! We managed to get away for the week last week which was lovely. Matthew can now stand for a few seconds and has 7 teeth 😊
Hi!!! Ah how cute! I literally can’t believe our babies are going to be 1 soon! It’s been the best 10 months of my life but the quickest 10 months of my life!! Wish time would slow down! So we have booked centre parks in 3 weeks time, literally cannot wait! Our abroad holiday in Dec we are going to move or get a credit note. So looking forward to 4 days away 👨👩👧
@Ellie34 can't believe how long her hair is!! Hope you manage to get on your holiday in a few weeks too. Definitely a good idea to delay your holiday abroad. Matthew's birthday present came today as I was worried about them selling out leading up to Xmas. We got him this
I know! Her hair is definitely getting longer! My mum cut her fringe the other day as it was getting close to her eyes! Oh how lovely! What is it?! I have a party booked for her next month at a village hall but I don’t think it will go ahead, as it will be too many people of I do cancel I’ll do it at home instead, we have a big garden, I just hope it’s nice weather! Xx
Oh and last night we had abit of a sickness bug, Lowen-Mila projectile vomited 3 times, it was awful! I thought she was going to choke! Then she fell asleep and slept the whole night and she’s been fine today. Very weird!
@Ellie34 its a bug rocker. It can be used as a rocker, or to climb over, as a den or on its side as a shop. Poor Lowen.M full of cold, I'm not looking forward to him starting nursery, hell catch everything!! We're just having a party at home but may have to stagger visitors if the weather isn't good. It's such a shame isn't it.
Hi ladies hope everyone is well. Also can’t believe we are almost at 1st birthday time 😭 we had a hall booked & we’re having a joint christening as her christening was cancelled in April but I’ve now cancelled the hall & christening again as it’s not worth it with such limited numbers & couldn’t have any bouncy castles etc in the hall so im having a garden party instead & have hired a marquee as we don’t have the best weather in Scotland 😭 Paislié is doing great she’s into everything lol can walk around furniture & with her walkie etc she has 8 teeth & is such a little gab lol I’m back to work on Monday dreading it 😩 it’s only the mornings until 12.45 but I feel so emotional that’s my maternity over & so much anxiety leaving her she will be with my mum but she’s so clingy with me she’s going to find it tough ! I got her a nursery place for 3 mornings 8.30-11.30 starting in September when she’s 1 so my mum will collect her until I finish & she will have her the mornings she’s not at nursery. I’m happy I got her in this 1 as I previously worked with all the staff so feel better that I know them but not looking forward to settling her in but it will be so good for her to socialise with the other kids xx
