I had a terrible horse riding accident about two and half years ago and was told by the Bupa Consultant we wouldn't be able to have children without some help (IVF etc). I accepted this and didn't really have any concerns that I couldn't have kids.
So we were not using any contraception at the time! I am having some problems now and have to see my consultant regularly but hopefully things will be ok. Only time will tell I suppose. I am due in June.
