I'm out ladies!! af arrived this morningimage I'm so gutted as it's going to be a while before we can even think about ttc again and my hubby prob won't even entertain looking into testing as he has enough on looking after me, my son and the house at the moment!

I suppose I just need to concentrate on getting my knee better; The cast came off yesterday which was a shock but the knee specialist said while the leg is immobilized the muscles and joints are just getting weaker which is not good, so I start with 3 months of intense physio next week then may be able to have surgery when the muscles are strong enough.

good luck lovely ladies who are still in with a chance this month!xx

Oh god why do I continue to obsess? I told myself I wouldn't let TTC take over but can't help it. I'm about 6dpo and after having a two month break and being sane the whole time now all I can think about is TTC!! I really, REALLY have my hopes up for this cycle being the one (convince myself of many reasons why this is the month for us....I conceived my DS in September 2008, my sister conceived her DD in September last year...I'm hoping September has some mystical baby making qualities image, we have had a break and it was meant to be I didn't fall pregnant before so we could go on holiday to Greece, and so on and so on....I'm talking myself into it AGAIN!!)

I have no symptoms what so ever and if it's bfn I know I am going to be devastated!! TTC is so bloody draining!!!!! Sorry for the rant ladies xxx

    Hi Ladies,

Hi Mummy nice to hear your getting along fine and bet time is going sooo quickly. Hope the sickness will get better soon.

I have been intending to keep up to date but always fail at it, especially as I started work yesterday after having a interview on Monday. This is at my others halfs workplace but in the office so I am not actually working with him as such.

Rosapenny, I went and had my bloods taken on Thursday which was day 14 as I got my dark line. Funny enough the results were back by the next day and the doctor said they were borderline. My thyroid and glucose ones were all fine but my Progesterone was borderline so they have asked me to go back and do the same next cycle. I am a little confised as they could not tell me if I had caught ovulation or though they said to do it again at the same time next cycle. Hubby has also been tested and we are waiting the results from his to come back so should be about a week from now. Even though he did not think he provided enough as he was under pressure and said it just felt wrong.

Loopy/Mrs B - so glad to hear everything is going great for you and bet its amazing to see the baby growing.Still so happy for you.

Snugglenush- Woo yay for smiley face, get egg chasing. We sometimes use conceive plus, defo does make things easier.

Sorry af turned up Andi, TTc obsessed I know that feeling, sometimes its a constant thought that I cant get rid of as everything seems to bring me back to thinking about it again. Defo know wht you mean Mrc ox, don't worry your not the only one. Dollie doodle, keep your chin up, sorry she got you too. carioke -  It will be your turn soon I promise( as much as I can).

Levi - not out til she properly turns up, so fingers crossed.

Devon - Im sure everything will be fine at your scan and I hope times goes quickly until it arrives for you.

Sorry for long post but trying to make sure I miss noone also trying to stop my parrot (Charlie cockatoo) from eating my laptop screen as I am typing lol.

Good luck everyone may we all get our Autumn Apple.

    Messy xxx

Hi ladies, just came back from hospital where i had my hysteroscopy, was expecting it to be very painfull, but was not bad at all. The Hsg was worse. The camera just showed a small polyp on the back wall of uterus which they have taken a biopsy off but she said it should not affect conception. This apparently the last of all the infetillity investigations so the next appointment with the fertility specialist would be where they would discuss referal for ivf/iui but I know thats not a possibility on the nhs. So think hubs and I need to sit and work out our next step after that appointment as finances for treatment arent there as we are buying a new house so it might have to wait up to a year. Oh well.

Hope everyone is doing well xx

  • Options

glad to hear it wasn't painful for you andi, when I had one done it was awful (my coil was stuck)  so does that mean there's no reason for infertility? I hope things work out for you!

good luck nevada, hope you've 'cracked' it!!

    xx

Well I think I either ovd yesterday or today - dtd the last 3 days haha and doing it again tonight just to be on the safe side - then on to the 2ww!! Argh!!

Rosapenny - I am also hating work at the moment. Getting fed up of coming home crying, but leaving work just isn't an option as I earn almost twice what m hubby earns and don't know what other job to do that would earn the same amount of money!!

GLad that it didn't hurt too much Andi - and I hope that something happens to get you the help you need!

    Hi,

Rosapenny, they said testing the man is normally the first test they do as its the easiest and if everything is ok it rules him out right at the start. He just gets a untreated sample pot, puts a sample in there and then it goes back to the lab to be tested. If he comes back clear then we will be referred to the gynacologist, well I will be. But I have to do my bloods again next cycle so will see what the results are from them first. How did Olivia's appointment go? Hope is all ok and she is doing well.

Keep on with the positivity Carioke!!! Hope you get better soon and next cycle you have a bfp to cheer you up even more!!!

Hey Nevada I hope you caught your egg this month. FC.

Andi, Hope you won't need to worry about financing IVF/IUI as it will all happen naturally once you are busy thinking about your new house and how nice you make it.

Snugglenush, hope work gets better or you find something else that suits you money wise. keep your chin up and get your positive thinking cap on. It will happen in time as it will with all of us, we just waiting for the right time for our minds and bodies.

AFM, I am somewhere near the end of my cycle and AF is due early next week. Not focusing too much on it as eager to find out test results from OH's test and get onto next month to do my tests again and await them results then.

Good luck everyone and hopefully there will be some Autumn apples ripening soon.

    Messy xxx

    Hey ladies,

Carioke I'm a hairdressing technician for a college, there's 3 technicians spread over 4 campuses, I'm in 2 of them but I'm treated awful, the other technicians have slightly nicer people they work under but I'm not so lucky and after 6 years I still haven't earned the respect of the teachers, the students I tend to get on great with though.

Olivia's eye appointment was on Friday, she has a turn on both eyes however you wouldn't notice them because she can focus straight on, it's only if she is tired or not concentrating that one slides out of focus. The dr said her eyesight was perfect and she told him how she wore a pink lady badge because her nana has cancer! I didn't even know she knew, she knows her nana was unwell she just surprises me everyday. Anyway he said she has no control over her eyes that as soon as she loses concentration and the eyes slide out. He said usually she should have some control but he said if at about 7 she still has no control we may want to think about surgery for cosmetic purposes because she is a little girl, I'm not keen on this idea at all!!

Cd14 bd twice so far, I'm pretty sure I haven't ov yet so will be bding some more over the next weekimage

Andi so glad it wasn't as bad as what you thought it would be. I hope then your bfp comes before you have to make the decision about IUI or IVF, if it's unexplained that doesn't mean it won't happen xxxx

Snugglenush and Nevada doodles are you both doing?

Messy I hope the witch stays away, we've def been lacking some bfps on this thread!!!

Rosapenny- kids know so much sounds like olivia is a bright young girl image

Im not 100% on my cycle date so im just taking each day as it comes

I found out today that my oh's nephew is having a baby- he's been with his girlfriend 2 months, it's so annoying when that happens especially when he doesn't work, takes drugs etc. I suppose these things are sent to try us image
