Hi ladies. Hope you are all OK. CD 5 for me today. I just wondered if you are taking any vitamins that are good for conception, aside from folic acid. I take coenzyme q10  as I find it helps with my energy levels but I have also read it is good for embryology.

Hey @FlossyLZ I'm good thanks hope you are well too. Wishing you both all the luck for this cycle 💗
I take 5mg folic acid, as I have to have a higher prescription for it as I have Coeliac disease. I'm currently taking vit d and calcium tablets for bone density issues and I remember telling the midwife this when I called and she said I was taking eveyrhing I needed to be. So when we try again, hopefully from next month, I don't think I'll take anything different x

I am cd 4 and hoping to get a bfp in the new year after a mc last month. Hopefully I'll ovulate in about a week. Good luck everyone. Be nice to be kept updated

Welcome @Lucky7188. Sorry to hear about your mc. I am now CD 6. I have reset my persona monitor which I am going to use to track ovulation. As I have reset it (I haven't used it in years), it's going to get me to test for ov from today onwards so it is going to be a lot of testing as I usually ovulate on CD 16. Hopefully will get a bfp this cycle but if not the following month the monitor should be able to narrow it down to around 6 days of testing. I now the persona is meant to be used as a contraceptive but I am going to use it for the reverse. Fingers crossed it does the trick.

@FlossyLZ fingers crossed it's your month! Try to enjoy yourself too and not too much stress around Christmas  :)
I need to take a leaf out of my own book to be honest as I've been so down and worried these last few days. I'm a terrible over thinker x

Don't know if this month will be our month.... DH is having to go away for work for two days.... The first being when ovulation day is predicted. I am hoping I might ovulate a little bit earlier this month but I don't think that is likely as it usually is CD 16.

    Hello everyone,
Me and my husband have decided to start trying for a second baby.
I am 36 so not so young anymore.
I came off the mini pill at the end of November but still not had a period yet which us starting to worry me :(
I was pregnant with my little girl when I started my last job so I felt really awkward letting them know I was pregnant.
I got paid statutory maternity pay do didnt lose out completely financially:)
How is everyone doing? All set for Christmas? Xx

Dont worry about period. I came off pill 31st August and didnt have period until 1st oct, it can take a while. Me and my partner have decided to try too.  All ready for xmas, how about you? X

That's reassuring, thanks. Last time I came off the mini pill it only took 11 days to get my period so was starting to worry.
I havent done any wrapping yet, but other than that fairly organised.
Good luck with your trying journey :-) xx

    Hey @LouTTC83! Welcome:)
It took me 6 weeks to get my period back so don't worry. How was your work with you when you told them about the pregnancy?
I started a new job in October, after being made redundant in September. We had been tttc since april and actually caught on in august. Unfortunately it was a chemical pregnancy and I lost it the week before being made redundant! Due to the situation I had gone back onto my pill but the packet will end in 3 weeks. I'll still be in my probation period until end of March. I'm so nervous about it all but I don't want to wait as it could be month before we catch on anyway. Ideally I'd like to be out of probation.
Good luck to you and @Lucky7188
I'm nearly ready for Christmas, but keep worrying about this situation lol need to relax and enjoy myself xx

    Thanks @SunshineB

That is reassuring about periods. My boss was ok when I told him about my pregnancy, he was a fairly laid back guy. I am still on maternity, due to return on the 14th January and my whole job has changed which is a bit of a nightmare. We decided to come off the pill at the end of November because it is unlikely that I will fall pregnant straight away, if I do at all. Let's see what happens.
I rent out my old house and just found out that my tenants are moving out at the end of January which I could do without right now :(

Sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy. Good luck in your trying journey when you do come back off your pill :) xx

@LouTTC83 I'm sure your cycle will return as it did before :) good luck with everything!
Ahh that's good! I guess they can't really say anything but they can certainly make you feel awkward.
Ohh no that's a pain! I thought they had to keep the job the same for you for your return?
I'm sure you with you having a child already :) try not put too much pressure on yourselves.
Oh gosh talk about timing! Can you get it advertised now really for someone to move on the new year? We moved one year into a rented house on the 30th of December!

Thank you. I have a few weeks left but I think I might just stop on NYD, new year new start and all that. I only went back onto it as with my new job, I got it via an agency and I have been working temp to perm. So to count for SMP you need to be in a job for at least 3 weeks before becoming pregnant. My current work is taking me on perm from the 2nd of January so I figured if I come off start of January,  it could be 6 weeks before my cycle comes back anyway. Then it took us around 4 or 5 months to conceive last time.
I know you shouldn't put your plans on hold for a job but you need to feel secure xx

Hello ladies , do you mind if i join this group?

Me and my husband are TTC from last April ie 19 months now. With pcos and no success so far. After 5 clomid cycle and hycosy scan i have been referred to specialist. Tubes are in good shape but they told i might have endometriosis. So now i think this might be reason i am not able to conceive as clomid did helped me to ovulate and bleed regularly.
I live in Reading United Kingdom, in RBH the specialist gave us a green signal to undergo NHS funded ivf and waiting time is 2 months. We will go through paperwork soon yet a wish to conceive without ivf starts.

@Meetingbaby gosh sounds like you've had a touch ttc journey :(
Good that you will be able to try ivf and 2 months is a short waiting list! I always thought it would be longer.

Good morning @SunshineB, not been on for a few days, had a poorly little girl, she seems a bit brighter this morning.

They have tries to find me a similar job but they have sold off the part of the business that does the bit I do, the rest of their business is a farmers Mart so completely different.

I think I am going to get in touch with an estate agent and get it taken over so they can get it on the market and do all the complicated stuff. Luckily I should have received a wage by then 🙈

Good luck ince you start trying again and fab news about becoming permanent, it's good feeling secure once you conceive. It's all very exciting!

Hello @meetingbaby, welcome to the group. Sorry about the problems ttc but its excellent news about the IVF. My cousin fell pregnant with twins after getting this. Fingers crossed for you! Xx

@LouTTC83 aww I'm sorry your daughter hasn't been well. Not what you want on the run up to Christmas,  although I'm  sure come Christmas day that wouldn't stop her having a good day lol.

I hope they find you something suitable. When will you know by?

Yeah good idea with the estate agent. That will take something off your plate that you could do without worrying about atm.

Thank you! I just hope they don't get mad with me when it happens 🙈 it's only a small office of 6 people where as my previous one was over 16! So being off for 9 months would cause a bigger issue I guess. They all seem lovely.
I'm so excited to start ttc again. Be nice to start the journey again with all you lovely ladies to talk to xx

Hi ladies. Not posted in a few days as I have been busy organising ready for Xmas. It looks as if I got my first wish....it appears as if I have ovulated early this month....i have never ovulated any earlier than cd16 and this month FF has me at ovulating CD 13 which has worked out well as DH has been working away from cd15 so I thought we were going to miss our opportunity this month. Fingers crossed I get my Christmas wish of a bfp. Currently 5dpo...had an odd temp dip this morning but I have read up on it and apparently it can be normal for it to dip now due to changing hormones. My af is now due Jan 1st so going to try and hold out until then to test (if Af does not show). How is everyone?
