Well, here he is! Born at 09:17 this morning, 8lbs 7oz. No way was he ever going to move. He really was too big too move! Spinal didn’t work properly so I felt every last stitch of my c section! Also lost consciousness and hubby got booted out of the room! Had some sort of reaction to another drug I was given! But all is good, he’s not quite getting the Breast feeding yet but getting quite a bit of colostrum and black nappies galore haha xx
Basically avoid loads of visitors. No visitors with symptoms or those who have been around those with symptoms. Avoid social situations like eating out and don’t use public transport.
I breastfed my son until I found out I was pregnant with this baby (around 14 months) and plan to do the same again. Not because there is any evidence as of yet that immunity of covid 19 can pass through breastmilk but because I’m too lazy to prep formula 😂 Other than that it’s business as usual: looking after a 20 month old, moving house, getting ready for lambing, trying to batch cook without looking like I’m one of the crazy panic buyers and all the other things that life involves.
Also anyone that is due to have a health visitor come see u I would phone and check to see if it’s still going ahead as just phoned mine up as I had one booked for tomorrow for a home visit and they have cancelled all home visits in my area and doing telephone calls instead
No I think it only builds up over time so unfortunately it’s a wait for it to build up. Yet I’m not too sure. If anyone has any quiestions for the health visitor let me know as I have a phone call with one tomorrow at some point
Health visitors in my area are also not doing home visits. Baby clinic at doctors are also cancelled. Walk in centre near where I live had also been closed down.
I’m a breastfeeding specialist (a trained one, that’s not me being big headed!!). If anybody would like any advice and their health visitor is unable to please just ask. The group “Can I breastfeed in it - breastfeeding support” on Facebook is also fantastic at offering support and guidance. I’d recommend anyone who would like to BF check them out xx

Other than that i don't usually have pain. It could just be things stretching.
