Hi Hilary, It was fun at the races, albeit a little cold - At one point it started to snow!!! Good job I had Sauls cosytoes on his buggy!!!

No time to ourselves at all on Easter Sunday!!! Made up for it yesterday, though didn't get to do any bding!!! Good job we're not following the SEP this month... Will be doing it tonight instead... I got a negative on ov stick (CD9), though normally its positive on CD10... I have had EWCM today though, which I haven't had since coming off the pill...

I am feeling very positive and have lots of PMA so far this month... I'll feel very differently by 10th April though...

How have you got on this month? Are you still bding or are you on your 2ww?

I want to be on my 2ww but I'm scared to stop incase I ov later than usual. I'm on cd 25 at the mo & last month I ov on cd 21 so I think I'll bd tonight & on the 27th & then wait. My cm has turned more lotiony & I feel a bit crampy but other than that no different!!!

What are you all up to this week?

Hi Hilary - Had a boring week so far, but actually had a good afternoon today - We popped in to see a friend and her 19 month old.... We took a walk to the park and the kids played on the swings... Made a nice change...

I'm a little miffed today though as i'm on cd10 and for the last 3 months this is the day when I got my positive on ov stick... POAS twice today and still negative!!! I'll try again tomorrow (I hope my surge doesn't happen in the night)... We will be bding anyway, just in case... I would've thought you should've ov by now, being on cd25 and everything... Imagine if we got our BFP's on the same month...

Tomorrow i'm off in town with my friend and her little boy (the one who whinges all the time), so not really looking forward to that... I'm sure it'll be fine though...

What have you been up to this week (apart from all the bding)!!!

Hi Hilary - Just a quick one, still haven't got a positive on ov stick!!! Did it twice today too!!! Do you think I could've missed the surge??? It says sometimes the surge only lasts 12 hours, so what if that happens during the night???

I will keep the bding up, but if Shaun wants to give it a miss tonight, I won't mind too much... Will test again tomorrow!!!

Hope you've had a nice day... I got Saul's feet measured today, but they recommended that I didn't get him shoes as he isn't walking yet...

I wouldnt worry too much about not getting a +ve on ov sticks & just carry on bding as you have been. I didnt get a +ve on an ov stick the month I conceived Zara so thats why I'm not fussed on using them. Dont get me wrong, I would love to know when I ov (so I could have a break from bding!!!) but just coz you dont get the +ve doesnt mean you havent ov. Like you say you could just have missed the surge. When we were ttc Zara the Dr told me bding every 3rd day was enough to always have sperm in your system waiting for the egg to be released. It worked for us last time though we seem to have opted for the everyother day this time (dont know why!!??)

How did you day out with your friend & her lo go???

Hi Hilary - My afternoon wan't too bad, they were very well behaved actually until we got in the car to come home, her little boy shouted on purpose after I told him to be quiet as Saul was sleeping, obviously Saul woke up and immediately started to cry!!! I was really cross with him!!! But what can you say to a 3 year old???

I'm going to test for ov again today, but I don't think I will replace my ov sticks once they run out... Expensive lark this ttc!!! On mycycle.com it tells me that I should ov tomorrow (going on past 4 cycles), so hopefully they are right... We didn't do any bding last night as House was on!!! Sad eh?? I was tired and went to bed at 10pm but Shaun wasn't tired and I was fast asleep when he finally came up!!! We'll get back to it tonight though as I bought some trashy undies yesterday in town to get him going!!! ha ha ha...

Just getting ready to leave for baby group its 30 miles away (must be mad), but I don't know anyone in my area and to be honest I don't want to!!! When I was pregnant, waiting for my midwife appointment at the doctors was a nightmare, the other pregnant mums were either 14 or 40!!! Nothing inbetween, so I decided I wouldn't join any groups in the area...

I was hoping for better weather today, yesterday was glorious sunshine here... Today rain, rain and more flipping rain!!! Depressing eh???

Hope you have a nice day, got anything nice planned???

    Take care...

Hi HIlary - Just a quick one, I got my positive on ov stick today... So we will be doing the bding marathon this weekend!!! ha ha ha...

Hope you had a nice day - We went to mother and toddlers this morning, it was fun, another mum invited me to a different group that she goes to on a Thursday morning, so i'm going to give that a go next week... Her youngest is 2 weeks younger than Saul...

I went in to see my grandad this afternoon to find him in bed unable to communicate... I rushed to find a nurse who told me it looked like he was going to die!!! The doctor has been called... Unfortunately I live 30 minutes away so if we get the call, I doubt i'll get there in time!!!

    Hope you're ok...

I'm so sorry to hear about your granda. I hope that you manage to make it in time when the time comes.

Youre keen travelling 30 miles to a baby group but I suppose we're spoilt coz we have a great one in the village thats just walking distance. Thats lovely that one of the mums invited you to another group so I guess it made it worth your while going. We are lucky that ours is quite small & has a good range of ages & coz its small everyone mixes well. I hope I'm not being nosey asking but what age are you? I was 28 in december past.

Great news about the +ve on the opk. Good job you got the trashy undies in!!! Maybe you'll get a BFP this month & they become lucky pants!!!! LOL

I'm sure you were ready to string your friends little one up, I now I would have been!!!

Fingers crossed that tonight will get you your BFP

    Speak soon

Of course I don't mind you asking - I was 34 in January!!! Old eh??? Don't feel old though, still feel like i'm 24!!! I bet you feel the same at the young age of 28!!! Wish I was 28!!!

Lucky pants (lol), I do hope so... I'm still feeling very positive this month - but I bet I won't be this time next week!!!

Would you say that as I got my +ve today (cd12), my af will be 2 days later than normal? I'm hoping to wait this month for af - I don't want to test early (easier said than done)!!!

Everything I do is in Plymouth (30 miles away), so I don't feel as if its a long way to go... Its a good group though, we look forward to it every week...

Well, I best go and get dinner ready, Saul prepared for bed as i'm hoping for a lovely romantic evening!!! Well, it doesn't have to be romantic as long as the bding gets done!!! ha ha ha...

I hope you had a lovely day...

You are only as old as you feel though I feel closer to 88 today than 28!!!!

I would say count on your af arriving 14 days after you have ov though I probably wouldnt test til 4 days after that just incase it was a bit late. I never got a +ve tilI was 4 days late anyway so thats why I dont test before then!!

Didnt you say you were hoping to move to plymouth? That would be handy for all your groups if you did

Have you had a nice weekend so far?

    Hilary x

Hi Hilary - Yes, thats why I chose the group in Plymouth... Thats where i'm originally from... Lived there for 30 years before moving to Cornwall with Shaun... Can't wait to get back really, but its just taking forever!!! Just think, I was 3 months pregnant with Saul when we put the house on the market!!! Now he's 11 months old and we're trying for number 2!!! Still not sold!!!

If you feel 88 now, imagine how old you'll feel when number 3 comes along!!! ha ha ha...

I'm hoping for one more night of bding tonight, then tomorrow we can give it a miss, then do it one more time on Tuesday!!! Then on my 2ww!!! Ahhhhhhhhh...

I think I will change my testing day to the 12th - Though I got a +ve with Saul on cd25!!!

Off to see my Grandad now, he's feeling much better again!!! He's up and down all the time, but thats the Parkinsons!!!

Hope you have a nice day... Weather is glorious sunshine here today... Makes me feel happy...

    Take care...

That must be a nightmare. Hopefully you'll find someone for the house before no 2 comes along!!!

My granda suffered from Parkinsons too & it was a horrible thing for him coz he got embarrassed when his hands started shaking

The weathers great here too today though mum & dad were up & they said the weather was horrible at their house & they only live 25 miles away. I took Amy a walk through the village & a ride on her bike around our estate. She was exhausted & feel asleep the minute her haed hit the pillow

I dont know when I'll test this month tbh coz with me having taken the antibiotics that can apparently alter your cycle too!!! I suppose I'll probably take a notion some day if af doesnt arrive!! I'll say 10th at the moment

Hi Hilary - Well last night we got down to some bding, but it was just taking forever!!! Shame, poor Shaun, I think he'd had enough... I felt bad, making him do it... I've told him he can go to cricket tonight and then have the night off bding!!! ha ha ha...

Hopefully we can get back to it on Tuesday though... I'm scared to stop the bding this month, I don't think I can do this all over again next month... Its not fair!!!

*Sara fold her arms and stamps her feet*

We are off to see my friend and Zach this morning, then i'm taking Saul to the health visitor to be weighed and measured for the last time before he turns one!!! Also have some questions to ask them about sterilising and milk once he's one...

Do you have anything nice planned for today... The weather forecast promised sunshine again today, but woke up to rain!!! I straightened my hair and everything last night!!!! Now i'm going to go frizzy!!!

    Take care...

I feel sorry for Mark having to bd on command & I know its awful saying this but it does get a bit, dare I say it, boring after a while coz its all for a purpose if you know what I mean!!

We are officially waiting now too. Its weird coz I'm not feeling as stressed about it as I was with Zara, though I might feel a bit different if nothing has happened in a few months.

How are your friend & Zach doing?

I dont want to rub it in but we had a beautiful sunny day here!!!!LOL

Hi Hilary - My friend cancelled as Zach woke up with a cold and sticky eyes... So I spent the day with my mum and dad...

I took Saul to the health visitor today and they want to see him again in a few weeks to measure him as he is so tall... If he has grown a lot more, they want to refer him to the hospital for tests... I think its a bit extreme, he's obviously just very tall... They couldn't even plot him on the centile chart as he's off the page!!! I am a little worried as they said if he carries on following the same centile then he will be approx 6' 10" when he stops growing!!! Thats just far too tall...

Can I ask, is Amy following the same centile or has she slowed down? I asked another friend who's little boy is 3 and she said that he is still following the same line from birth!!!

Shaun and I are going to measure him again tonight, once he's home from work, just to confirm that she got the right measurement...

Off to town tomorrow afternoon with my sister to do some serious window shopping!!!

    Hope you are all well...

    Sara x

p.s. Thanks for rubbing it in about your lovely sunny day!!! image

Sorry about the sunny day thing, I couldnt resist!!!!! Its not soo nice today though if thats any consolation!!

Amy & Zara are both on the 91st centile as regards height. Amy has followed both her weight & height lines religiously but Zara, although she has followed the height line so far, is all over the place with the weight one. I wouldnt worry too much if I was you coz your hv is most likely just referring you to cover their backs too. Zara has been referred to a specialist about her hips coz she has uneven creases on one leg. The GP looked at her today & shes pretty sure its nothing so I'm not too worried. Amy had the same & it turned out to be nothing as well. I would say in Sauls case he has most likely done alot of his growing in his early years & will slow down as he gets older whereas most of peers will take that spurt when they are older. I'll never forget a wee boy in my class at school & he was always tiny for his age & when he came back from the summer break he was as tall as everyone else.

I suppose you are better to get it checked out for peace of mind though

Did you have a nice day window shopping?

    Hilary x

Hi Hilary - Had a lovely day window shopping thank you, shame I couldn't buy anything!!!

Got home to find Shaun here!!! He came home from work as he has a bug (downward not upward)!!! Nice!!! Hope Saul and I don't catch it... Though it would be nice to lose some weight!!!

Sorry to hear the weather isn't so nice today, its gorgeous here today!!! Yey... Makes me so happy...

I've decided not to worry about Saul's height, like you say, he may slow down when he's a bit older (hope so anyway)... He's happy and healthy, just very big with it...

Hope you had a nice day today... Did you do anything nice?

I've never heard about uneven creases in legs!! What does that mean? I suppose if Amy had it and everything was fine, Zara is just taking after her big sister... I'm sure she will be ok too...

We can both test next week - I wish it would hurry up, I can't wait... I'm only on cd16!!! Haven't had any cm over the last two days so i'm not worried about doing any more bding... Thank god Shaun is ill this week and not last week!!!

    Take care...

Poor Shaun. At least it fitted in with ttc this month!!! Cant believe youre able to test again next week!!!! I'm sooo envious of your shorter cycles!! I'm hoping af stays away til tomorrow at least coz I've my post natal smear booked. I dont feel pg this month either, though I do feel horrible today but thats more down to a dose of flu unfortunately. I'm really strugling to cope with the 2 of them when I'm feeling soo rough. I'm tempted to see if Mark could come home early but we cant really afford for him to take a half day, especially incase I feel worse tomorrow & he has to stay at home.

The extra, or uneven crease in their legs can sometimes be a sign of hip problems but in most cases its just a extra wee bit of baby fat, which was what it was in with Amy but I suppose its better to get it checked out just to be safe.

I'm glad to hear youre not soo worrid about Sauls height now. I suppose its just the same as Zaras hip, they are being on the safe side.

Are you up to anything exciting today or are you too busy nursing Shaun????

    Hilary x

Hiya - Sorry to hear you have the flu!!! Its always so hard to look after little ones when you're poorly isn't it? I suppose i'm lucky as Shaun can stay off without losing pay if i'm ill, not that he's ever done it... I've only been ill once since Saul was born and luckily for me it was on a weekend...

Shaun went to work today as his boss was down.... He only had one bout of the poops, so I think he's on the mend... No sign of Saul or I catching it, so I'm thinking it may have been food poisoning...

We had a lovely day today, went out with a friend and her 19 month old... Was nice as we don't see them that often... I bought Saul his first pair of shoes today - bless, he is so chuffed with them... Kept holding the bottom of his trousers so he could look at them...

I'm still not feeling any different either, so at present my PMA is disappearing!!! I'm supposed to go for my smear, but the timing is always wrong!!! I need to get it done between cd7 - cd10... But my surgery don't seem to understand that I only have 3 days per month when it can be done!!!

I'm off to town with my other friend and her 3 year old tomorrow as its Thursday (weigh day)!!! He's the one that whinges all the time!!! God how I dread Thursdays but she doesn't have any other friends!!!

Enough of my moaning... Right must go and do the washing and tumble drying!!! The joys of motherhood!!!

    Take care...

Hi Hilary - Hope you had a nice day yesterday, it wasn't too bad in town with my friend and her grumpy 3 year old... He was on his best behaviour... Made a nice change!!!

I joined a new mother and toddler group yesterday morning, it was ok, lots of new people and 3 that go to my Friday group!!! ha ha ha... There was a tiny baby there (11 weeks) and I got butterflies in my belly... Broody just isn't the word!!!

Did you see Filo's news? Fantastic news that she got her BFP the month after her mc... I hope this one hangs in there and she will have her Christmas Pudding!!! Lucky lucky girl...

I can test next Friday - Its all I can think about... Filo said she was only 8dpo when she tested and it was +ve!!! I'm 7dpo today - who wants to bet I test in the next few days???

Right, must go, we're off to baby group in a minute then i'm meeting MIL to go shopping for Saul's birthday present...

Take care... Hope you are recovering from the flu!!!
