    Hi Alba,

Tallulah has 3 milk feeds, two BF and one bottle. She then has one snack a day and then meals each followed by some sort of pudding (fruit, yogurt etc). I took her to be weighed yesterday and she too is 18lb3oz but is still exactly on the line she's followed since birth (between 25th and 50th) I spoke to the HV and she said she's doing fab and that amount of food and milk is perfect for her!

i guess amounts etc might differ considering what centile line they are on? I would personally just go with whatever Hugo wants and what you are happy with! No baby is a text book baby... not ever... So these 'rules' they have are sometimes a little ridiculous!

Thanks Nevesmummy!! I think I just have a fussy little girl on my hands... not sure where she gets that from (my friends call me a fuss-a-terian) xx

Isaac was 18lb 9 last week so also following his birth centile xx

Hi everyone, we just wanted to let you know about two very different threads we're talking about today.

The first is, if you have older children, how old were they when they were out of nappies and clean at night time? Please do come and tell us over on THIS THREAD.

The other question we're asking is, when you gave birth (or if you're soon to be) was your husband down the 'business end' or did you keep him firmly level with your head? Please do come and tell us on THIS THREAD here.

    Thank you!

Hi everyone, we were wondering if you have toddlers/pre-schoolers, have they experienced night terrors? If so, won't you please come and tell us about it over on this new thread HERE. Thank you.

Hi everyone, we were wondering if you might have some advice for this newbie - her 6month old is EBF and on three meals a day, and she's concerned as he poo's after every feed. Her thread is here if you can help. Thank you!

Hi guys, do any of you know anything about being called for jury duty, while on mat leave and you have a new baby and no childcare? If so, might you be able to help one of our members on her thread here please?

Hi ladies! little update for you!

so health visitor came a few weeks ago for a check up and has red flagged a problem. Were seeing the doctor today because his head is measuring large.

He was following the 50th centile and has jumped to the 99.6th and almost off the scale. his head is measuring 49cm.....He has frontal bossing and brow ridge and I'm thinking he may have craniosynostosis. He also has quite a bumpy misshaped head and a big round bump at the back of his head, trying not to panic. desperate to get to the doctors to see what he thinks, hes going to re measure. I have recently joked on hear about his 'alien' head but never thought nothing of it. Ill post some pics later to show you what I mean. With him not crawling yet and been slow its only causing me more worry that something may be wrong. Wish me luck...hoping he doesn't dismiss it, I'm demanding investigation and tests if he does.

Oh supersquish, we're sorry to hear this. Please, please do keep us posted on what the doc says, but hoping you get a referral to a pediatrician.

    Hi Supersquish,

my niece had the same problem as this, and was advised by the specialist to have a helmet fitted to help witht the formation of the skull and to reshape the existing shape. It sounds scary but she just wore her helmet for about 11 months, and you would never know she ever had one now! She is now 8 and has no problems whatsoever! So hopefully it may just be a case of something similar! Hope everything goes ok!

    xx xx

    Hi everyone,
We just wanted to let you know about a couple of threads that might pique your interest today.

The first is, what were your worst/most embarrassing pregnancy symptoms. From giant nipples to terrible wind, please do come and share over here ON THIS NEW THREAD!.

Also, do you have a step-child but went on to have a baby of your own? This lovely newbie is struggling with wanting her own baby, even though her partner already has a child - please do come and check out her thread HERE if you can help.

Will you miss Mel & Sue on The Great British Bake Off? That's OVER HERE!

And finally, do you have any wise words for this newbie who's expecting her second baby, but after a horrendous birth experience the first time around, she's terrified of giving birth again. Her thread is here.

Well he's reffered us to peads so now waiting for a letter. His head is only slightly misshapen so I doubt they will do anything drastic, the frontal bossing is the most prominentimageimage

And the bump at the bottom of his head. Just a waiting game now 😳

He is gorgeous Supersquish. TBH I can't see the bump your mentioning at the bottom of his head but the Drs will get him sorted 😊

Poor isaac is having a right time of it at the moment!! He has a mouth full of ulcers and blisters after having a reaction to him new dairy free milk 😔 So he's on strong antibiotics, plus Calpol, Neurofen and numbing spray For his mouth so he can try to eat and drink. I'm hoping the antibiotics kick in tonight so we can all get a good nights sleep, I think last night me and Laurence got a grand total of maybe 4hrs between us 😩 So far so good though, he is sleeping and in his cot which was better than last night which was midnight before he finally settled. I just wish I could take all his hurt and pain away.

On a happy note my little Neve turns 7 on Tuesday, I don't know where the years have gone, she's such a beautiful polite and empathetic child. She makes me so proud to call her my daughter.

Hope everyone else is doing well. Much love to you all xx

Oh god nevesmummy that sound misrable for him, poor little man bet he's in pain! 1 ulcer is bad enough 😅

yeah is bump is covered by hair, it's hard to get a photo of. Looks like he's banged his head but it's always there lol

his forehead comes out as far as his nose, a few people have pointed it out. I'm happy for him to stay the way he is, he's still my cutie! So long as it's not going to cause any damage, which is the only thing really if left untreated it can cause pressure on the brain as it can grow if the skull sutures have fused too early. But I guess will see what they say and see if they want to watch and wait or have a ct/mri scan x

    Done Alba!

Just out of curiosity which sites do you use for product testing? I signed up for a few and they just seem to be spam/surveys and no actual products! X

    Hi Lola,

Thanks so much for the support I really appreciate it, its very difficult to ask for these things without sounding cheesy!

In all honestly its hard for me to remember exactly where it began, I received an email whilst pregnant from a site similar to MFM as you know what its like we join them all! and they came back to me, it works on like an agency basis with no money exchanged either way obviously- so a lot of the products are for brands that have not made a name for them self (hence the twitter tagging) or on a few occasions we have had big name brands who are looking to add a new concept to an already existing product most recently being ewan dream sheep. It used to be 1 thing a month but as Christmas approaches we are getting more and more various items. As I work 3 days a week I am having to shoot the pics all in 1 day in various scenarios in order to post daily throughout. I have looked at a few other accounts who have thousands of followers and by the looks of things it takes about a year to kick off with the aim being that the products will start to come in direct from a supplier to advertise and not always through the agency.

I suppose the moral is that every now and then these spam emails are for real!, a few of the products have been from the fabulous girls at MFM so also make sure your posting in there!.

I have only actually done about 4 reviews on my IG page serious ones anyway but have a long way to go and honestly lots of amazing things ready to post.
