I like that name Don! We've decided to call our little girl Lyra Elodie. It seems weird as we've started calling her Lyra now instead of her nickname.

Ellabella, we're going for a bedside crib for now. We will buy a bigger cot in due course but want to wait until we move house next summer. The bedside crib we are going for has a removable bassinet and our carrycot is also suitable for overnight sleeping so I don't think we are going to bother with a separate Moses basket. We are planning to buy it this weekend along with our travel system so I'm excited!

Lovely names Don and Sugar! We have decided on Matilda :)

We are getting a rocking crib for upstairs and a Moses basket for downstairs.

Is anyone having the anti D jab for negative blood? I had it with my first but apparently the have increased the dose.

Ohh sugar i love Lyra!! have done ever since reading the northern lights when i was little!! lauraa Matilda is lovely too!!

Thanks for the advice lovely ladies..  both sound like great options. i really live the snuzpod but some people when they reviewed it have said their baby outgrew it by 4 months and my littkeone already looks like he has super long legs :/ x

Ooh I like Matilda too - I'm writing a book at the moment and one of the characters is called Matilda. Ellabella, I love those books too - that's where I first heard the name Lyra. When I found out it was also the name of a constellation I was convinced. Two of my favourite things - books and space!

We are getting the Snuzpod I think. I read about it being quickly outgrown too but it seems likely our baby is going to be on the small side. We do like the Chicco one as well though - I don't know how that compares in terms of size.

I am having the anti d injection on the 1/12. I've had it with all of my baby's. I had a growth scan yesterday and they said he's gunna be chubby lol he is already ruffle 2lbs 5ozs. But they also said that my deepest pool of amniotic fluid is 10cm so I'm having to be tested for diabetes and in 2 weeks time having a scan with a specialist. Had a little cry about it yesterday i was just over whelmed with it all. Xx

Oh mummymitchell... i dont know anything about anti d injections or diabetes so can offer no practical advice but sending you a massive hug!! i hope it is all fine when you get your results back xxx

Thank you EllaBella. i think I'm just panicking but as a mum I think that's what we do. Especially when you can't do anything to protect them. I'm just thinking the worst that there is something wrong with him. But doctor wasn't as worried about that as she said all my scans of baby have been fine!! Xxx

I've got my anti d injection Dec 16th, vaguely remember having it with my first.

Due to my pre-eclampsia last time, ive got to go for extra growth scans which I'm obviously not going to moan about, will be nice to see my princess a few more times.

We think we're pretty set on the name Lyla Rose, I'd like it to be hyphanated and be her whole first name but OH said no 😞

    Hope everyone is feeling well?

Awww lovely names ! ! Think we're calling this madam Skye Phoenix , goes nicely with Dominic Really and Lola Fae .

We have a crib for when she's in with us, had same for the other two. The pram has a carry cot so we've never had a moses basket , just used the pram downstairs . Both were long babies so were out of carrycot and crib by 12 weeks .

I have to go for a glucose tolerance test , as Dad is diabetic , but didn't have to with the others, the NHS has changed guidelines .

Thank you Ellabella, it's something I have always wanted to do and finally got around to it!

    Loving all of the names!

Mummymitchell, I'm sure it's fine as, like the doctor said, the baby looked fine at all of your scans. They probably just want to err on the side of caution. At least you'll get to see him again at the next scan, and at least if it is diabetes then you'll know and can do something about it.

I can't talk though - I am also now in full-on worry mode! My urine sample a few days ago was positive for bacteria so they gave me some antibiotics for a water infection and said they would only call me back when the results were in if there was something wrong. Well I got a message from my GP saying they want to speak to me this afternoon to discuss my results. Has anybody had this? I had a water infection earlier in pregnancy and they didn't call me back that time.

    Hi Ladies,

hope your all ok! Love the names Don & Sugar.. we still haven't come up with many names yet lol leaving it until the last minute I think! Finally came to a decision on nursery furniture Monday and ordered it so it should be here next week which is very exciting! Still haven't got a pram yet but I still have 3 months so it's all good! Got my 25 week appointment next week and then another scan 8th December! Not been feeling to great the last few days, really bunged up and a super sore throat!

How's everybody feeling? & has everybody got much else to buy now? x

I've just got to get a pram and some nappies. Lol and a few more clothes nearer the time! Xx

We have to get EVERYTHING. We haven't bought anything yet barring clothes we have seen in the sale. Going shopping this weekend and buying our pram, car seat, baby monitor and changing bag as we want them all from the same shop. I might order the crib online too.

Grr so my GP didn't ring me after saying there was a problem with my results. Brilliant! I'm guessing it can't be that urgent as they surely would have. I'm now wondering if it was my bloods rather than my urine sample as surely they would let me know ASAP if I was on the wrong antibiotics or something? My bloods were only yesterday though and that seems a bit quick for them to have come through...

    Hi sugar.

I had about five missed calls from the dr asking me to call back while i was at work. when i did in a panic it was just to tell me i had a suspected water infection and they had ordered me some antibiotics which i coukd collect from the local pharmacy in a couple of days .. was amazed how many misses calls i had when a message would have been fine. i mean its nice they wanted to tell me in person... but nothing like a missed call from a dr to raise the blood pressure.

If it was urgent based on my experience im pretty sure they would have been in touch.

Id try to call them when surgery opens just to put your mind at ease, though im sure its nothing xxx

Thanks Ellabella - I could see why that would make you panic! Well my GP tried ringing again last night after I posted that but I missed it as I wasn't really expecting them to try as late as 8pm. I got a text from the practice shortly afterwards letting me know they will ring me at 11am tomorrow. So I guess I will find out soon enough! My antibiotics seem to be slowly doing the trick anyway as my cramps have gone...

Here's my bump 25 Week bump! image

Cute bump Laura (and I like your outfit too)! My cousin wanted me to send her a photo of my bump so I thought I might as well post it here as well. I'm 29 weeks now and the midwife said I'm measuring at 25. I'm pleased I'm finally starting to show though. My mum said I'm about the same size as she was with me when her waters broke at 36 weeks, so she must have been tiny.

What beautiful bump pictures. super neat bumps xxx

Radom question but does anyone else notice more baby movement when music is playing. mine seems to get super wriggly when it hears music... they were playing some cheesy 80's stuff in the doctors and my bany was either loving it and dancing or hating it and kicking me to turn it off lol xx
