Really don't think I can wait a week for a blood re-test might do clear blue digital as should say not pregnant now if gone to 19 surely? I believe it's 25miu. That way I know it's not going to plan. What do you think?

They want you to wait a week to do more bloods?. That's rough!. I would say try & wait for the bloods though hun if you... Much more accurate. When are you due to go away?.

we all go away next Saturday(8th) I'm pretty sure I've just seen a small amount of blood so not looking good. I must admit other than nausea today I haven't had that pg feeling so my gut instinct is a chemical pregnancy once againimage the AF ache is a little stronger too. If I'm honest I think I'll be bleeding when I get up tomorrow. That'll be my 4th mc 1 in 2005 and now 3 in a row this will be. One very late and two at 4wks 4 days. Need to see my consultant again she said to collect tissue if a next time so can test but I know it's impossible to collect as its just a normal AF this early? I feel gutted but I seem to becoming immune!

Sorry about your current situation missmyangels, don't give up just yet, I would take the clear blue, no way I'd be able to wait a week for more blood results, plus you got your family holiday to think about and prepare for, so stay positive and all will be fine, make sure to rest when you can xx

    Morning all

well I've just been for a wee and seen bright red blood not a lot BUT having enjoyed 3 (nearly) care free pregnancies I know that's not normal for me. I never spot or bleed at all. I'm going to let nature take its course then do a test end of next week and make sure it's negative b4 I go away.  Luckily hubby is happy to try again which is a relief but I'm going to contact my gynaecologist and ask to be seen again. See if there is anything else that can be tested other than just bloods. Always nice why it lasts but I would rather loose now than late like my first two mcs.

I feel slightly disappointed, but at the same time I'm ok in myself as chemical pregnancies aren't any bother as just like a period.

thanks for the support and kind words but I'll be on here for a bit longer yet!

Sorry to hear that missmyangels. Glad to hear you are staying strong & positive. Has your gynae / doctor discussed trying progesterone for you?. I used it this time from 3dpo until 12 weeks... It does no harm to use it apparently so might be worth a try asking if they will prescribe you some x

    Hi Ladies,

4 weeks ago I had to have a termination as my baby had a lot of problems image it was completely heart breaking and the worst thing that I have ever gone through in my life! image my bleeding has nearly come to a stop and I want to try again as soon as I can but I am worried its going to take ages to get pregnant image it is worrying me so much! I would just like to see if anybody could give me any advice?

Thanks SW2 felt a bit crappy this morning but I'm feeling better as the day goes on! Believe it or not I couldn't get hold of my gynaecologist but I e-mailed Lisa my bereavement midwife(she knows all my history!) she's emailed  my gynaecologist directly and her secretary to save me chasing! Got back to me already!! I tell you this bereavement midwife is an absolute rock, amazing lady I'd be lost without herimage she's on holiday until 9th I'm back on the 8th so worked out perfectly!!

i mentioned progesterone before but she said they were waiting on trial results still and wanted me to try baby aspirin. Trouble is they failed to get my results from bloods back and the advice on what to take!! Too bloody late now! Next time hopefully.

It's weird as I've carried 3 babies to term.  I did loose an ovary and Fallopian tube during my c-section with my first as I'd grown a huge cyst on my right ovary whilst pg which went unnoticed!! It was the same size as Harry's head!! Then had mc at 10wks.Had Lucy natural birth no intervention then Max in 2011. He came two weeks early but again natural birth not even pain relief no interventions. Fell with Oliver my late loss all perfect until 21 weeks when his heart stopped with no answers. Again I delivered him naturally I didn't want help but the placenta and umbilical cord got stuck! I was left 6 hrs then taken to theatre given a spinal and had it manually removed which I found horrific. I now wonder have they damaged my uterus? I'd like a scan to check everything is as it should be as I've been fine until then. Just a hunch but you don't know unless you ask I suppose. I know when the lady finished doing whatever she done(I kept my eyes shut!) she said "I'm very pleased with how that went" so I don't think they had any disasters.AF came back 21 days later then regular every 28 days. So that's normal. I always surge never missed one yet! Day 11-14 normally. So that's fine. Just appears sperm meets egg but not implanting!! I'm very confused. Roll on the next apptimage  I will push the progesterone option my GP mentioned it so I'll go to her if need be.

So sorry for your loss Amy17 it really is an awful thing to happen. Pregnancy is a stressful business! I have managed to fall pg within 4 months after each of my mcs. Sadly I've lost my last few. Everybody is different so all you can do is try! Maybe you could try using the clearblue ovulation kits so you know your best times to conceive if you want to speed things up! I use them as do other ladies on hear and they are quite helpful to get the timing right!

good luck on your ttc journeyimage

it is such a horrible time. I still don't think it has hit me! I was 14 weeks pregnant. still waiting for post mortem tests to come back so its still really hard image I feel like if I get pregnant again it will help me cope with the loss.

Where do you but those from? Boots?xxx

    Hi

it is awful and I feel your pain my little boy died at 21 weeks in November and it's just indescribable the emotions you feel. I too am still trying to fill that gap! My postmortem results all came back normeal but I didn't allow them to do our baby I couldn't stand it. I let them do bloods and placenta. It's so hard then I waited about 7 weeks for the funeral so I couldn't move on. That in itself broke our heartsimage

the tests are from boots yes,  about £26 depending if on offer. Can use first morning urine with those too. You get a smiley face when your LH levels rise then you know you ovulate between 12-36 hrs later it's a short window! At least you get to know your cycle and can baby dance 4 days b4 and a day or two after! My surge is about 11-14 days after the start of AF.

Missmyangels... That's great that your bereavement midwife is so helpful!! I'm glad for you that you have her for support!

i totally understand your fears re: possible damage from past procedures... I had the exact same fear due to having complications with a coil that i had previously... I was so afraid that that had caused damage inside my uterus. I spoke with my specialist about this when i started having investigations after my second loss & he was great... He performed a  HSG (Hysterosalpingogram) test where dye is injected into your uterus (& up through the fallopian tubes) & then they take x-rays while the dye is in so it shows up perfectly if there are any issues re: the shape, surface texture etc which could be affecting pregnancies. hopefully your gynae will consider something similar.

Thank you Cjk8 I'm ok I think the first mc is worst,2nd awful 3rd half expected now I just think right wait and see let nature take its course. It's not something we can change eh?! So we have to move on with positive thinking and say the next one will be the one!! In the meantime a quick check up if they can squeeze me in! Thanks for the hug

Hi ladies. Well I had my d and c yesterday. Glad it's over. Did a test today and it's faint so I'm on the road to trying again.

Now I have a question. How long before I ovulate roughly? Doctor sad I will be very fertile just now xx

  • Options

Glad to hear all went well allybally. How soon you ovulate is different for every person so can't really say sorry. with both of my mc's (1st managed with medication, second with d & c) i had my first af 4 weeks & 4+1 after procedures.... However, with both I did not ovulate in between mc & 1st AF. with the 1st I know for sure I ovulated the cycle after mc (so approx 6 weeks post mc) as I then be ame pregnant again that cycle.

if you are anxious to know for sure I would say get some cheapie ov tests & start testing in the next few days. Even if you don't ovulate this cycle (which isnt that uncommon) at least you will know whats going on.
