    I am taking raspberry leaf tablets now. They are meant to be good to soften your cervix and help with contractions etc. Is anyone still having sex?

    @XOXO1 I have heard of taking that to help, might try it.
    We haven't had sex for ages :/ I was so paranoid about the placenta being low 🤣 x

    @XOXO1 I’m having the raspberry leaf tablets too also having baths with clary sage oil, told OH he had to step up last weekend and have sex to see if we could get her moving tbh it was quite hard work lol

    @SmithL35 ah yeah, that’s understandable.

    @Metalchick haha! I know what you mean it’s such a challenge. So weird cause I found it easier with my boys. I must be even bigger this time.

    I had a call with the health visitor yesterday, she sounds really nice. She said they usually come out to visit 10-14 days after birth but she will aim to come a little earlier and more often to weigh him more and make sure he is getting enough milk....this was after I told her about his heart and how potentially the food pipe might be blocked. I was really reassured that she listened and will help because we haven't heard anything from the consultant :/ I mentioned that to the midwife and she said she will try and get me a phone appointment with the consultant. I would just feel better if I knew what the plan is for his birth as I have a horrible thought that there might be lots of people there and they want to take him off and check him :/

    I had my scan today & was so pleased to see my low placenta had moved so I can have a natural birth!! :D

    I had my first delivery from Hotteamama .. they do all sorts of Natural herbal tea. Im trying the ‘final push’ which is raspberry leaf tea and I also got ‘newborn wonder’ which is a gentle caffeine boost for those tired day’s once baby born :) xx

    Oh my gosh! I must have missed this. How did they find that out? You must be feeling pretty anxious at the moment with all what’s been going on.
    Consultants are a real pain so be persistent to get all the answers you need hun. Xx

    @XOXO1 they told me at the 20 week scan, luckily they let my husband in who was waiting in the car. We had an appointment with a heart specialist the next day at another hospital, and that was a bit reassuring as she said as long as he is in my tummy he will be fine. But his aorta isn't in the right place, it is being his wind and food pipes :/ so could restrict them. They will scan his heart at 5 weeks old to see if they will do surgery, but I am getting a little bit worried that he will be ok until then. But we haven't heard anything else x

    Oh that is good to know @Kayt2 thank you :) I am just dreading the day when we might have to hand him over and he will be taken away and put to sleep :/ but it might not happen yet, they might decide not to. They also said there is a chance of chromosome abnormalities associated but we chose not to find out. We just felt like it wouldn't make a difference and if there are issues we will deal with them. We are both teachers, I am in Early Years, so have seen such a range of issues hopefully nothing would phase me too much! 😀 just want him here and safe now xx

    Maybe a bit TMI but is anyone else pooing more? I pooped 3 times yesterday & 4 today 🙈. Previously I’ve been pretty constipated. They’re bog standard, not loose or anything. Just wondered if anyone else was the same? 🤔 apologies for the toilet talk!

    @vrob123 I'm not really going more, constipated if anything :/ x

    @SmithL35 haha, maybe! Worth a try. I craved marmite at the beginning which is full of B vitamins. I hope you can go soon, it’s such an uncomfortable feeling
