This is Lottie, she loves to curl up on the sofa at night, also loves her walks with us during the day, what a great friend keeping us fit too, and when its bedtime she always comes for her tummy tickle before bed.
We have two Shar Pei, Lila & Mug, both have fantastic personalities. Lila is the mischievous naughty one, while Mug is more chilled and laid back. DS is autistic and loves animals, Mug is his best pal.
This is our beautiful (non barking!) GSD who is so friendly that she’d lick anyone who tried to break in to death!
9 years ago - She came into our lives as an 8 week puppy whilst I was signed off work - this was after I had received work related threats & experienced the theft of my car. At that time I was working in a ‘safeguarding children’ role as an NHS nurse.
After the incident. We had a special black box (that linked direct to the control room) installed by the Police. The fire brigade came and fire proofed our letter boxes. Fortunately, the culprit was caught in my car, went to court and was given a probation order, plus a restraining order not to visit my home nor workplace. TBH, it was all very scary stuff. It had been expected he would go to prison. Especially, as I had done nothing wrong other than my job.
Our dogs personality is that she is very friendly, loyal, plus beautiful inside and out! Her uniqueness is that she is ‘stealth’ because she is silent but potentially deadly... (no in all seriousness she is just super friendly!) - although she has scared a few delivery drivers more because she just doesn’t bark - we are privileged that she is part of our gorgeous family and we are so lucky to have her in our lives. If I am lucky to be randomly selected it’s a new bed for our girlie from Amazon! What a treat - thank you x
This is Loki with his best friend Jynx who love spending as much time together and have both kept me sane during lockdown!
As an asthma sufferer the effects of it have been devastating and I am still struggling with breathing issues now. I frequently have Asthma attacks in my sleep and wake up gasping and quite literally feeling like I am going to die.
Hi. I'm Freddie. I was rescued from a puppy farm and brought home to my friend Millie. She is a proper Border Terrier. I was runt of the litter so although my body is all over the place, I mince along and have arthritis, I am the sweetest of chaps. When I am happy (which is most of the time) my tail wags so much the whole of my bottom shakes. That's why Mum calls me Mr Wiggles. My partner Millie taught me everything I know. I love the beach and my garden. Can even speak French!!!
After the heartbreak of losing our elderly labrador, life just wasn't the same. The house wasn't home any more. Being disabled and housebound I loved having a faithful canine companion. We found Ty a beautiful Rough Collie (an older boy) at a dog rescue that I support. He had been badly neglected by his elderly owner for some time, before the old gentleman passed away.
He needed an urgent operation immediately, and a second one later on. Although he had been fostered by lovely lady at the rescue, he was extremely nervous when he came to us. He is a gentle soul and he's very handsome. We rescued him, but he also rescued us.
