It must be very stressful for you Lillian. I’ve just been busy hoovering the hall and living room and tidying the kitchen because like you say it’s stressful somebody coming into your house as you think they are judging you. I keep telling myself they must’ve seen a lot worse but still you feel like they are looking exactly what you’re doing. Especially if it’s because your child is behind with development so I always feel like I have to make sure all the books are out and all the creative play and everything when the health visitor comes. And I try and hide the phone and iPad! 😂
Haha yes Louise 😂 we picked Ollie up 30 mins later than normal from nursery yesterday and he was in such a state crying and they said he’s been crying for half an hour and I said come on ollie let’s go watch the train on mummy’s phone as it’s the only thing that calms him down and they must have thought what shitty parents giving him a phone as soon as he finishes nursery. but he’s learnt so much from it I asked them if they sing abc as he’s learnt a lot of it and they said only did it once that day so he’s learnt it then from watching this bob the train on amazon prime 🤦🏼♀️
Yes definitely Lillian. They absolutely learn from it. Charlie has learnt all his colours and allsorts from on there. The difficult bit is getting them off! I’ll have to look up that Bob the train and see if Charlie likes it. I think we have to try and not worry about what other people think. We know that we are trying our best and that’s all that matters.
Yes exactly Louise ! We are taking Ollie out nursery a few days when I finish uni for maternity leave and I worry that he’s going to get board on those days but I figured it’s so important that he bonds with his sister as he will get his 30 hours in September anyway
He won't be bored. There's always the toddler groups and soft plays and parks etc. We try and go out for at least 3 hours every day but the rest of the day we just potter at home.
It was okay thank you dizzy. It was the disability health visitor who hadn’t seen him before so she was just sort of doing an assessment of him and seeing which areas she could perhaps help us with. She’s decided to try and help us with his feeding and trying some very early toilet training at the moment. So we’ll see how it goes! Hope everyone else is okay.

Ollie is being referred to the ENT specialists to have a look at his ears as he’s now got a hole in his ear drum .. I’ve just started my 6 week placement and that will be my last thing I do before I break up on maternity leave.
No I’m only 27 weeks but cuz of university I’m done after this placement which is about 32 weeks I think then my husband is going away .. I just hope my oc doesn’t get worse cuz if it goes over 100 they will deliver anytime from 34 weeks...
we we had to put my family dog down yesterday and my mum tool poorly in the morning I think from stress so we’ve had a really stressful weekend .. Ollie has been delightful tho it’s almost like he can sense something is wrong bless him x
No we’ve not got another house yet or to be fair had the money from the solicitors W have been owed for months don’t know what they are playing at it’s extreemly frustrating... my cousin is selling his house and I would love to buy it but we just don’t know when all of this is going to be resolved.. 🤦🏼♀️
